When we found out this was an actual designated day of celebration and action around parts of the world, we thought it a great chance for a fun blog post. After all, that is our job - we are in the business of feeding people and making them happy. #spreadingsmiles

Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary (1975) prints the definition of:

hap-pi-ness \ n 1. good fortune : prosperity 2. a state of well-being and contentment, a pleasurable satisfaction 3. felicity, aptness 

The theme for this years Day of International Happiness is mindfulness, gratitude, and kindness.

A few other connotations I relate to when thinking about happiness are inspiration, love, fun, family and friends, well-being and PEANUT BUTTER!

It has been said that happiness is a choice. Perhaps that is a truth of life, who knows? If it is or isn't, it's pretty safe to say that most peanut butter champions are interested in happiness at home, happiness at work, and happiness within themselves.

I am here to say with great satisfaction and confidence that here at The PB Love Company, making people happy is definitely something we do well.

Check in often with what you are grateful for and say "thank you." Give an act of kindness to your neighbor or a stranger.
